Sai Wan Ho is located in the Eastern District of Hong Kong Island. It is mostly residential, but there is an array of activities and points of interest in the area. Korean International School is located here, as well as the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre where concerts and events take place. Some nearby shopping areas are CityPlaza and JUSCO, and there is also a wet market near the Sai Wan Ho MTR Station. The Hong Kong Film Archive has its regular programs and screenings here as well.
