The Mid-Levels is largely populated by professionals and expats. Many of its residents use the Central-Mid-Levels Escalator, which provides a more direct route to work. The Mid-Levels cover the areas above Central and Sheung Wan, wrapping around and winding up the island. Long Fu Shan Country Park and St. Paul's College are both located in the area.
